back on the road again...

i went roller blading with zac yesterday! i was always damn reluctant to go roller blading because:
1. east coast is well, in the east and i live in the west. too far.
2. i cant roller blade and i dont want to go through the agony of falling down in the learning process.
but it was zac's birthday and he likes roller blading. so..i suggested it.
it was not bad. i kind of learnt how to blade in 10 or 15mins. it's easier than ice skating. then again it might be because i've been ice skating since primary school, and blading is somewhat similar to ice skating. i only fell down once. i fell on my ass. quite painful. i fell over a road hump. somehow the hump felt harder than ice. it never hurt very much when i fell during ice skating.

thanks for teaching me to blade baby. not your fault that i fell la. kiss kiss. everything is fine. <33
Happy 19th Birthday to you baby. hope you like my gift and the baby card. haha.

I just got back from staying over at Zac’s house and then Sentosa Siloso Beach Resort. Yes the beach resort. Not Rasa Sentosa. We changed the place cause siloso beach resort is cheaper, newer, less rooms and thus the exclusive feel.

First day, at Zac’s house

We just spent the day lazing about, eating and looking at his new marine-fish tank. Very cute Nemos and Dory. Then at night, we went to Graze at One Rochester, drank martinis and ate popcorn chicken, while lying on this round, bed-like thing with pillows.

Second day, the Siloso beach resort

We checked in, then went to check out the swimming pool. The pool was fantastic. It started with a rocky waterfall at one end, then flows down to this winding river-like swimming pool. The pool looks green, like a river. Not blue like swimming pools. Though we only stayed there a night, we went to the pool twice. The pool was hidden from view of people outside, so it had this tranquil sanctuary feel.
We ate at sakae sushi for dinner. No fancy restaurant cause we wanted to catch the Songs of the Sea musical show at siloso beach. It was way better than the previous musical fountain show. No annoying monkey squeaking about. Haha.
The room was nice. We bought wine, soaked in the bath tub in candlelight. It was nice waking up in the morning (after an exhausting night =p), with Zac beside me, limbs tangled in the sheets with mine =) We had continental breakfast on the Rooftop the next morning. It was good. Hot croissants, eggs cooked in all different ways, sausages, hams, yougurt, fresh fruits and juices. It was great looking at Siloso beach from the top. Could see all the sand and ships far away, and even the distant industrial islands.
I was so sad to check-out. Anyway we went vivo to watch the Rise of the Silver Surfer. It was not bad. I like the silver surfer. He’s so cool, zipping about on the silver surf board. Then we went to Esprit. Zac finally decided to have the leather sling bag for his gift. It’s 200bucks originally but there’s 50% discount so i bought it for him. Haha. i sound cheapskate. Only buying it when there's discount.
The whole three days two nights were about us, us and us. Happy 2 years anniversary baby. Thanks for the wonderful gift and card, the wine, and the time we shared. Our third, fourth and so on anniversaries will get better and better.

went for a photoshoot at Creative yesterday. they had a new product and i was asked to go down to give it a shot. it was not bad. they let me see this shot of a girl as a guideline for my poses. then i was like, "oh shit she's so pretty. i'll never get to model their products with such steep competition." then after the whole thing, they told me that they'll do editing to my photos cause any photo taken with any camera is bound to look flat and not commercial-worthy. so they revealed the ORIGINAL photo of the girl i used for the guideline. she looks so damn ordinary. i wouldnt even call her pretty. i look better than her in my unedited photos. they changed her hair colour from black to brown, eye colour to match the hair, and i could see that they edited her eyeshape also(from slightly droopy to wide doe-eyed), and of course complexion. from an ordinary girl to gorgeous babe. i even asked the photographer, "are you sure it's the same person??" he said yes. the only resemblance i saw is the hairstyle. i think i could be a gorgeous babe after the editing too. i hope i get chosen. i want my photos back. i dont get it back if im not chosen.

today i went for my violin recital. guess what? only 2 hrs before the recital then i found out that it's INDIVIDUAL! remember how i wished there were many people playing with me?? before my turn, i was so fidgety and restless. my hands went cold and damp. i wouldnt say i played well. my hands were shaking from stage fright so i couldnt control the bow well enough, resulting in screeches and dragging across strings =( couldnt play as powerful as i normally can cause my hands were weak n shaky. argh! thanks to zac for going to support me, and staying back till late with me though it must have been super boring. i love you.

here are the happenings for this week:
Tuesday
I went to a modelling interview today. it's just a company that is looking for freelance models. i decided to give it a try. the place: Velvet Dragon. it's a damn nice pub. lush red velvet sofas and armchairs, red hanging chandeliers and black walls. very goth i thought. and very very nice. i love the place. the event is Models in Fashion. pity pity, it is to be held on ladies' night everyweek. and cause of my curfew, i turned it down in the end. if not, i could have been catwalking for street labels like 77th street, iora, bods.bodynits, and some homegrown desginers whose names i cannot remember. argh wasted. damn the curfew!

Thursday
went to the PC showwith zac. i only have one thing to say about it: it's so freaking crowded.
after that we went to marina square for a while. then zac had to go home to prepare cause he had to book in that night.

well, i have a violin recital on 8th june at methodist church of incarnation at 7pm. come and support! lol. i havent been practising. cuz im so sick of playing the recital piece over and over again. it's not solo or anything. so i dont have to worry too much right? other people can cover up my mistakes, if i make any that is.
