back on the road again...

Went bugis with evelyn the other day. I bought the fancl cleansing oil from her. I really love it a lot. She gave me a small bottle to try, and I love how thoroughly it removes all my makeup, including my super waterproof mascara. It doesn't leave an oily residue on my face, and it hasn't broken me out. Thanks girl. This retails over $30 bucks, but she sold it to me for under $10. Soooo cheap! Thanks!

I also bought a Stage lipgloss in Helen. It's a nice nude gloss. It was going for $9 for 2, so I shared the cost with eve.

Comparison of Sephora's ultra shine lipgloss in 20 Nude (left) with Stage's Helen. Helen is much more pigmented, and looks more coral. Honestly, Sephora's Nude looks almost clear on my lips, and is quite streaky. Helen goes more smoothly, no streaks, non-sticky, and I love its brush applicator. Loves!

I just found out how poorly paid researchers are. I guess it's like one of those 'noble' professions where someone has to do it, but it's not well paid, or doesn't have a fantastic future (money wise). Like teachers. I think most teachers teach private tuition on top of teaching in schools, because teaching is another one of those professions that does not pay well even after many years.

Went tcc to eat the other day with zac. We were supposed to eat at momiji, but it closed down already and the website didn't update that! Grr... Luckily, tcc was having 1 for 1 pasta and main course.
Zac had this seafood aglio olio. It was really nice. But too spicy for me. But I like it. It wasn't too oily, and the garlic taste wasn't too overwhelming.

This was what I had, but I couldn't remember the name. I couldn't even pronounce it. Haha. It had some special fish with mushroom, and the pasta type was unique too, so much so that I have no idea what it's called. The cream sauce was perfect. It did not make me too nauseous (cream sauces have that effect on me after awhile).
