Celebrating 27 months of being together! =)

Okay we didn't really celebrate. We decide to only celebrate anniversaries instead of month-versaries. Zac and I went dragonboating with the NTU team today, though Zac's not from NTU. Nobody cares. Everyone's just out there to have fun. It was not bad. Pretty fun. The water splashing was fun. They even taught us how to splash water at other boats using our paddles. LOL. My muscles are aching! Mean I'm getting BIGGER! Haha. I'm burnt too. After days of rain, today was burning hot. But I'm already not that burnt compared to other people, though I have fair skin. I must have fair AND thick skin.
Coordination is the hardest thing about dragonboating. You can push your limits, physically, but if the coordination sucks, then your boat won't move as fast due to inefficiency. When boating, I kept hitting the guy in front of me accidentally. Think I hit him about 100 times. He must hate me by now. During the mini-race segment, my boat is like 3rd last. Haha. There're about 5 or 6 boats in total. Think the last boat is an all-girls boat. No wonder last la. At least mine has some guys.
My brother went today also. So did Zac's brother. My bro signed up to join the team. I didn't. 4 days training per week. I don't want to fail my modules!

Yay zac finally drove me today, months after he got his license. He's always afraid of driving me around lest we get into an accident. That's sweet though. He came to get me at West Mall after work. He looks really drool inducing in his air-force uniform. Haha. Thanks for driving me, baby. We got through it. Without an accident! =) <3

You know, my mum is english illiterate. Her chinese is damn pro though. Anyway, she just asked me what A-S-S-H-O-L-E means. She spelt it out for me cause she can't pronounce it. LOL!!! How am I to explain to her in CHINESE??

I still cant get around the fact that I've got tutorials to do and I have to wake up at 6.30am on some days. The tutorial part is the hardest. For the past 8 months, I have been doing whatever I want, going online, watching all the TV programmes I wanted to watch, going to the library to borrow novels that I can curl up in bed to read. Then suddenly, I found myself going to library to browse reference books and borrowing textbooks to do my tutorials. No more sleeping late because of watching TV. More likely I'll have to sleep late to rush tutorials which I have been putting off. No more spending as I wish on food or clothes or entertainment because I HAVE NO POCKET MONEY!! Anyway, the upside is, walking up and down NTU's numerous flights of stairs and hills helps burn calories. And NTU's food is quite nice - I've only tried Canteen A. Mcdonald's is alot cheaper too.

Okay so today is orientation day for school of biosci. My conclusion, is that sbs people are very clique-ish. The people who went for the camp, is obviously in one group, very big group of course, and making a lot of noise. The rest of the people are hanging out in small groups. Some are even alone. Sad right? Luckily i have cariann and her friend. So the three of us hung out together during the whole time there and did not get to know anyone else. In the CR1, some kind of lecture theatre, during the talks, there're many lone empty seats here and there, signifying the seperation between each group and clique. Cariann sat on my left, and nobody is on my right. Cariann's left is shun xie, her friend, and unsurprisingly, nobody sat on shun xie's left. People really dont mix. Jeez. I'll never get to know anybody else. I dont feel comfortable intruding on already fixed groups or cliques. I wish i went for the camp. The outgoing people are all in it. They're making so much noise, playing games within themselves during lunch. Looks like a lot of fun. Me, for one, i really hate to miss out on fun.
Anyway, i signed up for inter-school games. Vball and futsal. Thanks very much, cariann, for putting me in futsal when i dont even know how to play it. haha. Hope i get to know more people during these games trainings and practises.
