back on the road again...

i watched the beijing olympics opening ceremony. sure it's spectacular, but it's chinese performances dont't really appeal to me. just wanted to watch the torch lighting. it's grand, but i feel nothing compared to few years back when i-cant-remember-what country used a fire-lit arrow to light the torch.
lee jiawei was a disappointment. my mum commented about how other countries held their flag high despite the small team. lee jiawei looked so lethargic and the singapore flag was dragging on the floor. isn't china her home country really? she should be happy at least for being back from where she came from, if she isn't happy about representing singapore in her home country. maybe she felt that it's some sort of betrayal. haha. im talking rubbish. getting late.
