back on the road again...

haha im suppose to be planning my gp essay to write in class tomorrow but... oh well.
went down to turf city to watch the cross country championships today. after finding out that we had to stand in the blistering heat, i started complaining. but later i found out that i actually wanted to stand in the heat instead of the shady parts so i could catch most of the action. not many people were standing in the sun so it was pretty empty at those parts.
i was looking out for the singapore sports sch competitors. since they spend most of their waking hours training, they better be good. the C div girls frm SSC came in 2nd overall. not too bad. but for other divisions, they didnt do well at all. and i thought ssc ppl train to compete internationally.
A div boys and girls were the last races and these were the races we were waiting for. congrats to the acjc cross team! the boys are champs in the overall team event and girls 2nd. i think. im quite proud of them actually. see? im not disinterested afterall. everyone went balastic when they caught sight of eeghim, the 1st boy frm our sch's team to reach the finishing. we were all disappointed when he didnt come in 1st individually (cause he's a really gd runner. really good), but we're still euphoric that we're 1st overall. leon came running in with style. he was wearing sunglasses! the 1st guy individually is an indian guy from innova jc. quite surprising that such a new sch could breed such gd talents. he was running like there was a lion chasing him in africa or something.
