haha today lecture was actually really productive. that's because i read through the lecture notes before hand and almost finished the tutorial assignment for it even before the lecture. so during the lecture, i was merely filling in points i did not know. another reason is, the lecturer is so funny today! there's this thing called the WASP. it's the name of a protein. and then there's a protein that's related to it. it's called Bee1. the prof then told us that the Bee1 actually had another name, but it's not as sexy and relevant to WASP. so scientists changed it to Bee1. apparently WASP and Bee1 interacts with each other. so scientists think they're "mating" or something. haha! the prof also showed us this nucleophile, a type of white blood cell, chasing a bacteria. it's so cute! the wbc just kept on chasing and chasing the bacteria. then, there's another joke about Shmoo during the lecture. this protein or something, i cant really remember now, can change it's conformation into this shape. then the prof called it shmoo. everyone was puzzled. the prof didnt believe that we all dont know what it is. so he told us to go find out. so i did. it's actually this cartoon character. and the protein thing can change its conformation to the shape of the Shmoo cartoon character. oh my. scientists do have a weird sense of humour. haha! research work must be boring.

well well, recess week is here. going to study for my 2 quizzes, perhaps get started on my project and keep fit. i want to play sports! vball, badminton, pingpong, anything!

im broke. bought my 94bucks textbook. ="(
