hmm haven't been updating in awhile, not because i'm busy, but because i'm lazy...8 Feb 2009 National Vertical Marathon
these are the programmers who took part! =) see we're a bunch of sports enthusiasts. these people also joined the nike human race with me last year.
climbing wasn't a breeze, to be honest. 60 storeys was okay on the leg muscles. but i had breathing difficulties =( i was wheezing like crazy, couldn't breathe, vision blacking out at around 40 storeys. while i was training for this event, none of this happened. maybe because the stairs at my block was open with good ventilation. the stairs at republic plaza, is an enclosed stairwell with one ventilator per floor. maybe because i was having my period too. less blood, less oxygen to my head =( was super dizzy and wanted to faint. anyway i think i made it in good time. my team did great. in my opinion..... =)

this is an annual wine tasting event at NTU. drank about 10 (or more) types of wine in these 2 days. some nice, smooth and refreshing, some so strong that my hair stood up after a small sip. haha. evelyn bought a bottle of Rose called Pink elephant, and a bottle of pretty strong dry red wine called Oddsocks. haha cool names right? i didn't buy anything, thought i was pretty tempted to buy this white wine which was soooo smooth and sweet in a refreshing sense. it's a young wine, year 2007. i didn't buy =( my mum would kill me.
14 Feb Valentine's Day
didn't celebrate =( bc it would be crowded outside, so zac n i decided to give it a miss this year.
