Bad day today. I didn't sleep well, so I went to work tired. I was also pretty discouraged by the poor sales recently. So I was packing the shelf, and the tester bottle toppled off. The outer casing shattered. The pump still works, the contents still inside, but the outer casing was badly cracked and bits were missing. And my boss's assisstant came down to check today. I admitted to him that I dropped it. Could tell that he was really unhappy, though he didn't say it explicitly, plus the poor sales, he looked really displeased with me. Poor sales, not my fault. Because the brand is new and unheard of, and nobody would pay $59 to $89 dollars for just a bottle of skincare product. I would rather buy La Roche Posay, Vichy, and the Estee Lauder group of companies. A promoter from a supplements brand, said that I shouldn't own up. But I was honest, and I didn't thought of lying even. Should I have lied?
Working sucks. Really not cut out for sales job, especially where I have to convince people to buy something that is never heard of. Feel like I'm cheating people's money. I'm not like this other promoter there, who can talk cock her way through and convince people to buy her equally unheard of, and equally expensive skincare. She promotes supplements and other stuffs too. Her brand has everything. Almost everyone she promotes to, will buy her products. Even little old ladies whom don't look rich, and probably don't care for expensive skincare.
