I just found out how poorly paid researchers are. I guess it's like one of those 'noble' professions where someone has to do it, but it's not well paid, or doesn't have a fantastic future (money wise). Like teachers. I think most teachers teach private tuition on top of teaching in schools, because teaching is another one of those professions that does not pay well even after many years.Went tcc to eat the other day with zac. We were supposed to eat at momiji, but it closed down already and the website didn't update that! Grr... Luckily, tcc was having 1 for 1 pasta and main course.
Zac had this seafood aglio olio. It was really nice. But too spicy for me. But I like it. It wasn't too oily, and the garlic taste wasn't too overwhelming.
This was what I had, but I couldn't remember the name. I couldn't even pronounce it. Haha. It had some special fish with mushroom, and the pasta type was unique too, so much so that I have no idea what it's called. The cream sauce was perfect. It did not make me too nauseous (cream sauces have that effect on me after awhile).
