Met up with evelyn and cariann yesterday at vivocity. Cariann just came back from taiwan and had gifts for us! Thanks dear!
She got me this Shills lip balm, which I actually already tried even before I took this photo. Haha. It's pretty good. The first Shills item I owned!We ate at White Dog Cafe. 3 course set lunch for $10.90++. Here was what I had:
The salad (which I only ate a mouth of) and the leek and potato soup with garlic bread. The soup was super good! Never thought that a soup made from veg would taste so good. The garlic bread was too buttery though.
Then I had mushrooms aglio olio linguine. This was really nice. They were so really generous with the mushrooms.
Close-up of my yummy pasta.Overall, it was a great place to eat at. The staff was polite, especially the manager (I think? He was wearing a shirt instead of what the other waiters were wearing). We wanted to change seats because we were cold. He was more than happy to oblige and he even offered us shawls to keep ourselves warm. Then he made sure we had enough parmesan cheese and chili flakes. I would eat there again.
